WIGHT NOISE STAFF & PROFESSIONAL DANCE COMPANY
Wight Noise is a professional contemporary dance academy based in the Phoenix/Peoria area established in 2014. Wight Noise Dance Company members are dance educators and artists from all over the valley of the sun.
Wight Noise Dance Academy members also engage in residencies, workshops, master classes and community outreach projects.
The choreographic focus of Wight Noise Dance Company is Celebrating Life through Dance.

Rachel received a BFA in Dance from California State University Long Beach in 1991. She is a former principle dancer with Nannette Brodie Dance. After working as interim Professor of Dance at Golden West College in Huntington Beach California, she re-located to Arizona where she taught in the public school setting for 28 years. Rachel is deeply immersed in the Arizona dance community having taught in the Maricopa Community College system and several high schools throughout the Valley of the Sun. she continues to serve on many dance and arts related committees including, Arizona Assessment in Dance Education committee, Dance Alliance, Artist in Residence and the Peoria Unified School District Arts Festival Committee.
Rachel has helped to create high level dance performance companies at all educational institutions previously taught at and continues to strive to raise the level of dance and arts education in the community. Rachel is a recipient of the Golden West College Alumni Pillar of Honor award, Pride of Peoria and the Kathy Lindholm Lane Award for Excellence in Education.
